Virtuaalkomando (Virtual Commando in English or VC for short) unites Estonian volunteers who want to contribute more than usual to the safety of their family and community. Members of the VC aren’t official rescuers, but their awareness and preparedness for crises is significantly higher than average. 

VC is a unique solution that gives ordinary people an opportunity to participate in training programmes and keeps them constantly up to date. By signing up, members are asked to add relevant information about their skills or resources (be it a tractor, an all-terrain vehicle, or a generator) to their profiles to let the rescuers know to whom they can turn to when time is of the essence.

Volunteers keep their eyes open, know how assist, and in need provide a helping hand to make their community a safer place. Simply said, VC is looking for community heroes.
